Deus Vult is Latin for œGod Wills It. � It was the rallying cry of crusaders in the First Crusade.

The First Crusade was initiated in 1095 when Pope Urban II called on warriors to help the Byzantine Empire retake Anatolia form the Seljuq Turks.

The crusade was so successful that they went on to re-take the Holy Land which has been overtaken in Islamic expansion hundreds of years earlier.

Veritas Vos Liberabit is Latin for œThe Truth Shall Set You Free. � It comes from verse 8:32 of the Gospel of John when Jesus was addressing a group of Jews who believed in him.
